Lead Manager, Leadership & Highest Awards
Hi Jackie,
I hope you’re doing as well as can be! I am writing to let you know that GSNorCal is planning our Lead the Way 2022 conference–it is set to take place February 11-13, 2022 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Milpitas. If you are interested and available, we would be absolutely thrilled to have you back again as a workshop leader!
“The Art of Effective Speaking” got great feedback from our youth participants, and was noted as the most impactful workshop for several Girl Scouts. We hope you may be able to lead this workshop again. This workshop would remain a 9th grade track workshop. This means that it would take place on Saturday, February 12 only.

Introducing the Lunch & Learn Training Series
We are bombarded with news about the Coronavirus on every news channel every day. So much of what is happening seems to be beyond our control. What can we do to remain positive?
It helps to establish routines; to get up, make your bed, and to get dressed as if you were going to work. What can also help in a time like this is to focus on what we can control; to use this time to proactively pursue goals, strengthen relationships, and work on training and skill building.
The Talent Development team would like to help by offering one-hour zoom training sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays through the month of April and into May. This training will be delivered by Jackie Welch, whose diverse Leadership background including 28 years of corporate experience allow her to transfer knowledge and teachable moments to audiences.
